Cub Leader Training Day - February, 2008
 
As you are probably aware, the most current basic training for Cub Leaders requires two different courses for a leader to be considered a trained leader:
  1. New Leaders Essentials and
  2. the Leader Specific Training for your registered position.
The Great Trails Council is giving their Cub Leaders the opportunity to get both parts of the basic training on February 2, 2008.  If you are a new Cub Scout leader or have recently changed your leadership position or you just need to get trained, then this training opportunity is for you. 
 
Training Offered:   Cub Master Specific: For Cub Masters and Assistant Cub Masters
Den Leader Specific: For Tiger, Wolf/Bear and Webelos Leaders and Assistants
Pack Committee Specific: For Committee Chairs and Committee Members
Location:   Hadley Senior Center, Hadley MA
Just off Route 9 on Middle St, The Senior Center is just 2 miles from I-91

Cost:   $5.00 (no matter what you take or when you arrive)
Lunch:   Bring a bag Lunch if you are taking both sessions
 
Schedule:   8:30 - Sign-in
9:00 - Den Leader Specific Training or Cubmaster Specific Training  
(choose one)
12:00-12:55 - Lunch and sign-in for afternoon session 
(We'll start the sign-in at 12:30 pm)
1:00 - Pack Committee Specific Training  
 

We will NOT be offering New Leader Essentials Training during this training opportunity.  New Leader Essentials is available online at: http://www.greattrailsbsa.org/menu/training/nle/nle.htm  If you have not completed New Leader Essentials Training (required for all levels of training), you are encouraged to do so before the February Training Day.
