| Who Can
Attend? Entire families,
not just Scouts and parents, bring along grandparents, older and younger
siblings, and other relatives who enjoy the great outdoors. |
| Where?
The weekend will be at
Chesterfield Scout Reservation. This is a 500 acre camp owned by the
Great Trails Council. It features 15 campsites, a dining hall, program
buildings, playing fields, a 40 acre lake and much more! |
| When?
This is an overnight
camping experience happening Saturday June 14th till Sunday
June 15th. It runs 9am Saturday through 10am Sunday. |
What
is there to do?
During the day there will be
activities like fire building, archery, games, climbing wall, fishing,
and more. There will also be time to explore the camp and see what it’s
like. In the evening a large campfire with skits and songs will cap off
the day’s activities. These activities are not just for the scouts to
participate in. All family members can and are encouraged to
participate.
Where do we sleep?
Several campsites will be
open for your use. Each site features canvas tents with bunks to sleep
in. You may bring your own tent if you choose to. Additionally, each
site feature picnic tables, campfire rings, and latrines. Centrally
located camp showers are located near the waterfront and dining hall. |
| What about
food?
All meals are provided so you don’t
have to worry about cooking. There will be lunch, dinner, and a snack on
Saturday. Breakfast will be served Sunday morning. Our chef is preparing
a delicious menu that is sure to fill you up. Please let us know prior
to the weekend if you have any special dietary needs. |
| What does it
cost? The fee is $20 per
person with a maximum of $75 per family. This fee includes all
activities, meals, and an event patch. |
